My
first impression of the class was that it would require a lot of focus. I can
tell I will be spending a lot of time practicing skills I learned in class on
my own time. Although I am expecting myself to get frustrated at times, as I
often do when using computers, I hope this class will teach me patience. I hope
at the end of this semester I will have projects that reflect who I am and are
done to the best of ability. I will also expect to be fairly familiar with
programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator CS6.
I
have learned a lot about who I am through expressing my feelings through various
outlets. I write poetry, play guitar, and like to paint. I also express myself
through the clothes I wear. I am the kind of person who needs to constantly
liberate my feelings or I will go insane. That is one reason why I am
taking this class. This class will teach me skills that will eventually make up
another useful outlet for me. On top of that, it will also provide me with
skills I need to succeed in my major.
